This hybrid compounds four of the most iconic species from Sabah and has the potential to be extremely large and spectacular in every way. All four of the parent species grow in close proximity in habitat, so its most likely that despite its complexity, this hybrid would have existed naturally at some point in the past.

There was never any doubt that a complex hybrid like this, which involves four such different looking species, will have a lot of variability between individuals. There are a huge number of lab clones involved in this item (several hundred from two different grexes) and we are seeing the expected variability, as the photos here show. Since we still only have juvenile plants in the nursery, we show photos of the parent hybrids, as well as all the individual species involved in its creation.
