African Pyxie Bullfrog

Pyxicephalus are a large bullfrog species that can reach huge sizes in adulthood. These are true bullfrogs and will enjoy an enclosure with a significant aquatic portion (about 1/3 of the tank). If their environment is too dry, Pixie frogs will tend to bury themselves in their substrate to retain moisture. 

Pixie frogs have big appetites and are very active hunters, enjoying a wide diet of insects and the occasional rodent once they reach appropriate size.
